1. Terms & Conditions

1.1. By placing an order with LISSÉstudios, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1.2. LISSÉstudios may update these terms at any time without notice. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the current version.
1.3. Each product is made to order. Once fabrication begins, no cancellations, refunds, or alterations can be made.
1.4. These terms apply to all domestic and international sales.
1.5. These terms constitute the entire agreement between LISSÉstudios and the customer, superseding any prior communications or representations.

2. Website Accuracy & Disclaimer

2.1. LISSÉstudios aims to present product information, imagery, and pricing as accurately as possible. Minor variations may occur due to display settings, lighting, or material qualities.
2.2. Images shown are representative. Lighting, reflections, and surrounding environments can alter how a finish appears. Actual tones and textures may differ slightly in person.
2.3. LISSÉstudios reserves the right to refine or adjust design details over time to improve construction or performance. Such refinements do not constitute defects or grounds for return.
2.4. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website and accept no liability for downtime or technical issues.
2.5. Product availability is limited and may change without notice. LISSÉstudios reserves the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time.
2.6. All website text, imagery, and layout are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed, or altered without written permission.

3. Orders

3.1. Orders are accepted once confirmed by email from LISSÉstudios.
3.2. Production begins immediately after order confirmation and full payment.
3.3. Estimated lead time: 4–8 weeks, depending on design and production schedule.
3.4. Dispatch details and tracking will be provided once your order has shipped.
3.5. LISSÉstudios may cancel or reject any order at its discretion. If production has not begun, a full refund will be issued.
3.6. Orders cannot be modified once fabrication has started.
3.7. Ownership of all products remains with LISSÉstudios until full payment is received and cleared.
3.8. Each design is produced in limited quantities. Once a piece is sold out or discontinued, it may not be reissued in the same form or finish.

4. Payments

4.1. All prices are listed in AUD and include GST where applicable.
4.2. Prices are subject to change without notice.
4.3. Payment must be completed in full before production begins.
4.4. Accepted payment methods: PayPal, Stripe, and Apple Pay, processed securely through third-party gateways.
4.5. By completing checkout, you authorize LISSÉstudios to charge your selected payment method for the total amount.
4.6. Customers are responsible for accurate billing and contact information.
4.7. Failed payments or chargebacks will result in cancellation.
4.8. LISSÉstudios does not store payment data; all transactions are handled by verified third-party providers.
4.9. Payments are processed in AUD. International customers are responsible for any currency conversion or transaction fees applied by their bank or provider.
4.10. LISSÉstudios is not liable for delays, errors, or disputes arising from third-party payment gateways.

5. Production Lead Times

5.1. Each piece is fabricated individually with precision and care.
5.2. Lead times (4–6 weeks) are estimates only.
5.3. Delays caused by material sourcing, supplier schedules, or production demand may occur.
5.4. Extended lead times do not entitle the customer to cancellation or refund.

6. Material & Craft Variations

6.1. Every LISSÉstudios piece is handcrafted. Stainless steel and other materials used may exhibit subtle imperfections, tonal variations, weld traces, or polishing differences.
6.2. These surface variations are inherent to the fabrication process and form part of the character and authenticity of each object.
6.3. No two pieces will ever be identical. This individuality reflects the human process of making and is not considered a fault or defect.
6.4. Each object is built to express its material honesty — small marks, tone shifts, or subtle irregularities are signs of its creation, not imperfection.

7. Shipping, Packaging & Delivery

7.1. LISSÉstudios ships worldwide using FedEx or equivalent couriers.
7.2. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination.
7.3. Delivery timeframes vary by region and are not included in the production period.
7.4. All items are securely packed for international transport. Minor wear or compression to packaging may occur during transit and does not indicate damage to the product.
7.5. Once collected by the courier:
 a. Risk of loss, damage, or delay transfers to the customer.
 b. LISSÉstudios is not responsible for courier or customs delays.
 c. Routing, handling, and international transit are outside our control.

Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

7.6. All customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and border-clearance charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are determined by your country’s import regulations and are not included in the product or shipping cost.
7.7. LISSÉstudios does not pay, prepay, or reimburse customs or import-related fees under any circumstances.
 a. Each destination country applies its own taxes and fees based on declared value and materials.
 b. Customers are strongly advised to check with their local customs authority prior to purchase to understand potential import costs.
7.8. If customs require additional documentation or payment to release a shipment, the customer must comply directly and promptly.
7.9. If the customer refuses to pay customs fees or fails to provide required information, the shipment may be held, returned, or destroyed by authorities. LISSÉstudios will not issue refunds, replacements, or credits for such outcomes.
7.10. Customs inspections or import delays do not constitute valid grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
7.11. Orders returned to sender due to incorrect address, failure to collect, or unpaid customs fees will only be resent once all associated costs are covered by the customer.

8. Faults, Damage & Returns

8.1. All pieces are thoroughly inspected before dispatch.
8.2. Returns are not accepted for change of mind, natural surface variations, or handcrafted imperfections.
8.3. For damaged or faulty items, contact info@lissestudios.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging, label, and product. Keep all original packaging.
8.4. Approved returns must be unused and in original condition.
8.5. Verified manufacturing faults will be addressed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
8.6. Damage from misuse, alteration, or improper handling is not covered.
8.7. LISSÉstudios is not liable for courier delays or transit damage. Each piece is built with precision, but once shipped, it is beyond our control.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All designs, photographs, written content, and website materials are the exclusive property of LISSÉstudios.
9.2. Reproduction, resale, or modification without written permission is strictly prohibited.
9.3. Unauthorized commercial use of LISSÉstudios products, imagery, or name is forbidden.
9.4. LISSÉstudios products are sold for private use only and may not be resold, exhibited, staged, or used for promotional purposes without written approval.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

10.1. LISSÉstudios collects only the data required to process orders and provide customer service.
10.2. All data is securely encrypted and handled by verified third-party systems for payments, logistics, and analytics.
10.3. Personal information is never sold, shared, or used for purposes beyond order fulfillment and communication.
10.4. Customers may request correction or deletion of their personal data by contacting info@lissestudios.com.
10.5. Use of the website implies consent to our data, privacy, and cookie practices.

11. Liability & Warranty

11.1. LISSÉstudios is not liable for:
 a. Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
 b. Delays, damage, or loss occurring after courier collection.
 c. Misuse, neglect, or improper installation of products.
 d. Customs confiscation, import refusal, or related costs.
11.2. Liability is limited solely to repair or replacement of verified defective goods.
11.3. Nothing in these terms removes rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Force Majeure

12.1. LISSÉstudios is not responsible for any delay, failure, or loss caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, transportation disruptions, supplier delays, or government restrictions.

13. Governing Law

13.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
13.2. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Victoria.
